					<description>another similarity to the mac ads: i found myself actually liking the &quot;christian/pc&quot; character more than the &quot;christ-follower/mac&quot; guy. in particular, his attempt to be &quot;down with jc, yeah you know me&quot; was kind of endearing. sort of like the dad who embarrasses his kid by using slightly outdated lingo (usually accompanied by hand gestures and slight bending of the knees and/or swaying) when talking in front of his/her friends. 

i love the firestorm these kinds of things tend to ignite among certain circles (e.g., the comment section at that site).  typically, the discussion devolves into a sort of &quot;you're a pharisee/no, *you're* a pharisee&quot; round robin argument.

i must say, it would have helped the christ-follower's street cred to have clap your hands say yeah or yo la tengo or the 77's (!) on his playlist.</description>
